Celestron SS50 Spotting Scope Made in Japan

Rugged compact spotting scope for field or range. This very nice-looking field scope has a stamped aluminum body and durable baked-on beige enamel finish. As indicated by the Japan Telescope Inspection Institute sticker (see last photo), both the SS50 and eyepiece were entirely made in Japan (likely by Vixen Optics). Aperture, 50 mm; focal length, 380 mm (f/7.6). Weight, 14 oz / 397 g; length, 12 in / 30.5 cm.
