Kowa field scopes from the 1980s and 1990s are still highly sought-after by hunting/shooting enthusiasts and birdwatchers alike, because today's affordable field scopes are simply not built to the same high standards of materials and craftsmanship typical of Japanese-made scopes of that era. This one's built to last and is ready for another 40 years of dependable service.

Durable stamped-aluminum body with tough baked-on enamel finish. Objective made of premium BK optical glass. Eyepiece provides 25X magnification with good eye relief (NRO estimates 16mm). This scope is also compatible with all screw-in, fixed focal length eyepieces made for older Vixen field scopes, which share the same M28.
