Using the 1st focal plain reticle on the Minox MD 80-ZR allows me to measure my target width and come up with a planned correction if I miss before the clock starts during a stage. Before I had this scope I would burn up time on the clock measuring the width of a target so that if I missed from a blown wind call I could correct 75-80% the width of the target into the wind.

Matches are having shorter par times these days and every second counts so it's a benefit to me to be able to know and have written on my dope card a proposed correction due to wind before the time starts. High contrast, neutral color rendition. MR2-S reticle at the 1st focal plane for reliable distance estimations.

Waterproof according to IPX7 and nitrogen purged against internal fogging. 1/4-20 threaded for standard optics/camera mount accessories.
