The Viper HD features HD lens elements; an optimized optical system delivers impressive resolution, cuts chromatic aberration and provides excellent color fidelity, edge-to-edge sharpness and light transmission - resulting in High Definition views. The Viper HD is XR fully multi-coated. Proprietary coatings increase light transmission with multiple anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces.

Multi-layer dielectric prism coatings provide bright, clear, color-accurate images. Porro prism construction offers maximum image quality and performance in a traditional design. The straight body design is valued for speed target acquisition and ease of use. It is the most compatible design for use with car window mounts.

Waterproof O-ring seals prevent moisture, dust and debris from penetrating the spotting scope for reliable performance in all environments. Argon gas purging prevents internal fogging over a wide range of temperatures. ArmorTek ultra-hard, scratch-resistant coating protects exterior lenses from scratches, oil and dirt.

An adjustable eyecup twists up and down to precise, intermediate settings to maximize custom fit for comfortable viewing with or without eyeglasses. Helical focus allows for fast and fine adjustments. A built-in sunshade reduces glare and shields the objective lens from raindrops and snow.

The tripod can support up to 5 lbs. And measures just 21 when folded up. Its legs are divided into four individually locking sections and each leg features independent spread to adapt to any surface - even steep inclines.

Its minimum height is just 15" and its maximum height with the center column fully raised is 52.3". The tripod's legs are equipped with rubber feet to improve stability on virtually and surface. The High Country also features a quick release plate with a ¼-20 screw that's attached to a ball head. This plate can be used to quickly and easily attach cameras, spotting scopes, rangefinders and more.

The ball head is made of aluminum alloy and allows for up to 90° of tilt. This ball head is also removable if you want to replace it with another type of tripod head. Included with the tripod is a nylon carry bag and storage strap for storing and transporting purposes. Safely supports up to 5.0 lbs.
